Bruh religious or not there’s no debating that Dreamworks Prince of Egypt (1998) is a masterpiece and one of the most visually stunning works of animation of all time. The parallels between Yocheved and Miriam singing the River Lullaby as a tear runs down their cheek and the wind blows their hair in front of their face? Incredible. The use of hieroglyphics to show how Moses learned that his father ordered the Hebrew babies slaughtered??Ingenious. The duet between Moses and Ramses where the choir chants in the background while you watch the plagues destroy Egypt and Moses is begging Ramses to let his people go and Ramses refuses and it shows them facing each other and then side by side and then Ramses walking away while Moses stands firmly??? Intense. When Moses parts the sea and the Hebrews are walking between the water and lightning strikes in the background, illuminating the silhouette of a giant shark swimming in the wall of water???? Iconic. The entire movie is just absolutely breathtaking and that’s just tea

I didn’t want to have to make a post about this, but i’m pretty pissed off at the moment.

I’m sure for people who have looked up “Mystery Skulls Animated” they’ve seen this 3 video compilation result that’s very high up in the search results. We have already sent out a copyright strike since last night so i’m hoping that will be the end of it, but if it’s not, please do not give this person who uploaded our videos your views, they have edited out all our credits and the video already has over 500k views which is absolutely stolen views and potential extra revenue for our VERY SMALL production team even though they have not monetize that stolen video. They also had a comment pinned earlier (before changing it) from people who thought they had made our videos. To the person who did this, I know you’ve seen our comments on your video to take it down and are actively ignoring that and gloating about how many new youtube subscribers you got on your twitter page. Putting one link in the description doesn’t absolve you of guilt that you stole our content and that was after people badgered you to do it.

You’re an asshole.

(BTW we do have a playlist made up for the videos so this makes me even angrier.)

Also one thing I forgot to mention, this reupload has effectively stunted growth of views on ALL 3 VIDEOS, especially for Hellbent which was at a steady pace until this upload happened. I made sure to check. So we’re barely gaining anything in comparison at the moment. Even with a frickin’ ready made playlist which is already super convenient. >->

The mental shift between realising this is animated.

there are so many things great about this aside from how hardcore this mosh pit is

– the shield that gets launched into the stratosphere as soon as the armies collide
– the guy on the left side who somehow manages to do a complete 180 in all of the mayhem and dives out of frame
-the guy on the right side who decides not to get involved and runs right past the camera
– the final dude who trips in the least natural way possible

Why is this now the style for every CN cartoon? What the fuck is happening?

i dont want to judge before watching the actual thing but, why everything now should look like that?

CalArts takeover

They had a thundercats reboot in 2011. Which actually looked promising. But due to cn being cn and giving a crappy time slot, no advertisement, no toy promotions, and along with some unfortunately mediocre writing and poor world building it got canceled.

I have little hope of this being good if it gets going, and the bar is sit low for them.

God fucking damn it, what the fuck is this!?

“The story of a boy who became a man… By becoming a bear.”

This movie is way too under appreciated in my opinion… The fandom is practically non-existent…

And I don’t understand why? The plot was fantastic.

All of the characters were lovable.

There was no one that you absolutely could not stand.

The “bad guy” was actually the main character, Kenai. Which was an interesting twist for Disney.

But by building a bond with this young cub (Koda), and seeing the world through the eyes of a bear, he realized that he (as a man) had been the monster… Not bears.

I mean, talk about character development…

Koda: Those monsters are really scary… Especially with their sticks.

And for me, this scene right here was one of my most emotional Disney moments. You can’t even here Kenai telling the actual story… But you can see their facial expressions and you can just feel it. You know exactly what he’s saying to Koda.

Kenai: Well, I have a story to tell you.

Koda: Really? What’s it about?

Kenai: Well, it’s kind of about a man… and kind of about a bear. But mostly, it’s about a monster.

… Koda… I did something very wrong.

Okay, but on a lighter note?

The animation was incredible.

Amazing.

It was a powerful movie about brotherly love, guidance, and responsibility, and it truly is one of my favorite Disney movies ever.

Not to mention the soundtrack is amazing. You can’t go wrong with Phil Collins.

The fandom will never be huge, but the movie definitely deserves more credit. If you haven’t watched it, I highly recommend it.

Brother Bear

I want to remind everyone that this movie is where the “quit telling everyone I’m dead” “Sometimes I can still hear his voice” joke came from.

This is still one of my favourite Disney films ever.

It’s funny, according to critics no one liked this movie and it was panned hard..and yet anyone I talk to (including myself) LOVED this movie

People are weird

The fans probably migrated over to Brave once it came out. Which is pretty much the same basic idea, someone turns into a bear to learn a life lesson, but in this case, it’s the mother of the protagonist, not the protagonist. Yet it still feels like they tried to resurrect Brother Bear through the same basic plot idea.
