f-62 twins!!

I fell hard in love with this sculpt when it was first released in Japan a couple years ago, and it became my grail. So I was stoked when they were offered for US FCS. I couldn’t decide between WS, sunlight, a boy, or a girl, so … I just.. went with both..! I’m so happy I did. They look beautiful together! (the girl is actually taller than the boy; he’s SD10, she’s SD13!)

I had a small scare of the girl – she was lost in the mail for a few days before she arrived. So even though they’re twins, they didn’t even come in at the same time 😂

A Goddess In Our Midst…

Today we held our monthly meet at the arboretum, and I actually brought Ayida outside for once! Her faceup is chipping in a few places, but I braved my nemesis (nature) to take some promo photos. Ayida is dear to me. She’s one of my favorite characters, and she pushed me to sculpt my own BJD, because I couldn’t find what I was looking for on the market at the time. I’m pleased with these pics! Thank you to everyone who watched me flail all over the place and listened to me whine about bugs 🙂
