roadkillandcrows:

Can’t believe it so happy! I was given this old box of bird skulls and eggs by a parents friend who inherited it!
Birds I’ve identified: 2 razorbill, guillemot, great black backed gull, teal, gannet, jackdaw, carrion crow, kestrel/sparrowhawk, blackbird, mute swan, shag, pheasant and house sparrow.
There are loads of beautiful British bird eggs which are over 80 years old with some being even older.
Please note I live in the UK where there is no migratory bird act and the age of the eggs makes them fine to own.

I’m taking Comparative Vertebrate Zoology this semester. Two 3-hour labs a week in addition to the regular lecture times.

I’m not too worried about the dissection part. I’ve done a bunch of those including a cat in high school Anat & Phys, so that’s nothing new. I’m kind of excited about it, actually. It’s the lab practicals I’m going to have to work for. It’s gonna be a loooot of studying. Lots of terms.

A quick poke around sittaeuropaea‘s room….. It is impossible to capture how awesome it is, these are just some random shots in and around his cabinet (plus two piggies). You could literally spend hours going through all the beautiful deads, which is what we did – and didn’t even meet half of them. I guess that means another visit is in order at some point 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

It’s seriously such a great place and every dead is beautiful and has personality and everything is just dkfhnvkdjfvljolifd. So many bones and skulls and plants and books and sorry bye everyone I have a closet to move into
