I believe that my life has been doomed since I was born as I have always had such horrible luck, but I have managed to get this far, I swear I don’t know how, but I truly want to continue living. To complement my bad luck, I was born in Venezuela a country with a terrible economic situation that gets worse every single day, for the last 20 years.
I have seen so many successful fundraisers, for things like buying a cellphone, but I can’t even manage to reach people. I know helping is not mandatory, I understand if you don’t want or can’t donate.
But please, help me reach more people; this is literally a matter of life and death.
I don’t know what else to do. I don’t want to stay here any longer. Predictions say that for the second half of the year the situation will be so terrible that even if you have some money you won’t be able to buy anything because there will be NOTHING to buy. All those that don’t manage to leave will simply die of starvation, sickness or pretty much anything.
I just want to leave with my mother as soon as possible, I promise we will do it spending as little as possible. We are even planning on helping out a friend that is in a worse position than ours. He would be of great help in the travel. It is a 7 days long journey by bus from Venezuela to Peru. We have to go through Colombia, Ecuador and Peru to reach Lima (Peru’s Capital city. This way we would save as many as 3 times what is worth the travel by plane). Plus, we will have some money left to rent somewhere cheap when we arrive, do all the paperwork to stay legal in the country and survive while we find a job and get paid.
Living here in Venezuela, I swear it must be like living in North Korea with a bit of internet. The government does whatever they want; they up until this very moment are still stealing all the money this country generates. They deny that there is a crisis. They won’t leave humanitarian aid to arrive. And they will NEVER leave the power willingly. EVEN if someone overthrows the government it will take as much as 50 years or even more for this mess to be somewhat fixed.
I do not have the time to wait. Nobody has it and that is why people are fleeing in mass. But I do not have the resources. At any moment, the government could block all the ways of getting out.
Please help me, just by getting out of here, I can try to make a life or my own. I will have the chance, the first ever chance of just living and not surviving one day more.
Believe me when I say that just 1$ will be of great help, or just sharing my fundraiser so more people will see it.
It sadly has a time limit, Gofundme acquired Youcaring and obviously Venezuela is not in the countries supported by Gofundme and I do not have a bank account to open a fundraiser there. So, I only have 33 days left with this fundraiser before it gets taken down.

So far, we have not received any donations. I must say, I am a bit saddened, but I understand that not everyone can donate and that the post did not reach many people.

It’s not a remarkable number, but it is a good number and I appreciate every single one of you for supporting me and following my appreciation for wild cats all over the world (including domestic cats). If only 4,000 of you donate just $1, Sara would be able to help pay off Makhmal’s surgery costs as well as provide continual support (physical therapy, rehabilitation, etc.) in the hopes that one day, Makhmal may be able to utilize her left hind leg to the best of her ability.

Not only is it true, it gets worse. The Susan G Komen For The Cure Foundation has actually successfully sued “competing” charities, because (paraphrasing) their “message or branding was infringing.”
You read that correctly: they took money that people had donated to cure cancer, and hired attorneys with it, to sue ANOTHER group of people trying to find a cure for cancer, who, in turn, had to us their donated money to hire their own legal counsel to defend themselves.
Yeah signal boost because not enough people know about this and seriously FUCK SUSAN G. KOMEN THEY ARE THE ACTUAL WORST

Komen For The Cure is pretty much awful.
My mother died in 1996 from breast cancer. Most cancer charities are scams, in that people throw fancy parties and get rich off them and very little money goes into research or support for patients. Here are some vetted cancer charities that get good scores on Charity Navigator and pay medical expenses or fund research:

The beautiful girls in this photo is my girlfriend, Jenny, and her wonderful friend, Tatiana. This is a temporary picture for now, but they are important to this.
Jenny’s family has been barely able to afford home mortgage, their bills, and food, but now it may be impossible for them. Even with Jenny and her step father working hard, and their mother JUST getting a new job, they cannot afford this due to the build up of bills.
The mortgage is worth 1000 or so, but their bills add on as well as needing to feed a family or five. They need this to help them carry on until they can get the money for next month on their own.
Every bit of payment will really help them, and I won’t make it a total charity work.
I am an artist, a cartoon artist. I will reward people with some decent artwork for certain amounts of money anyone pays.
