Drone with grabbing claw arms can lift 44 pounds

Prodrone’s latest creation could lift a four-year-old child, and uses its 5-axis metal claws to perch on fences like a bird.

This drone, here depicted stealing chairs from the poor, could also be used to abduct a four year old

Are YOU prepared for when the machines come to try and take ur young

NRL issued patent for solar microbial fuel cell

The U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Center for Biomolecular Science and Engineering, has received a U.S. patent for a self-assembling, self-repairing, and self-contained microbial photoelectrochemical solar cell driven entirely by sunlight and microorganisms.

A solar microbial fuel cell (SMFC) is a non-semiconductor-based system, which employs microorganisms to generate electric power by photosynthetically replenishing reactants of a sealed microbial fuel cell using sunlight.

The SMFC reactants (glucose and oxygen) are internally regenerated by a group of photosynthetic microbes whose reactants, carbon dioxide (CO2) and water (H2O), are the products of the microbial fuel cell. This interdependency results in many thousands of hours of long-term electricity generation from sunlight without replenishment of the microbial fuel cell reactants.

“Natural photosynthetic systems, such as trees and algae blooms, self-repair, a property that makes them highly durable,” said Dr. Lenny Tender, research chemist, Center for Bio/Molecular Science and Engineering. “Here, we incorporate photosynthetic organisms with the self-assembling and self-maintaining benthic microbial fuel cell (BMFC) to enable durable land-based photoelectrochemical solar cells.”

this is such a good idea I’m dying squidward

Zombie apocalypses are curiously lacking a large array of common equipment that could neatly control the situation.

“But we can’t build walls to contain them!”

Moves by truck, train or boat. Ridiculously common. And see those holes on the bottom? Mobile by forklift. Also, HEAVY, even when empty they’re in the tons. If you had some warning you could string these things end to end for miles and human bodies can’t move them. Plus they’re nice and wide so you can comfortably walk on top of them for patrols.

“But we don’t have easy ways to kill them!”

Put the shotgun down you fucking idiot.

No tires to pop. Heavy and slow but inevitable. Climbing required to enter and thus, relatively zombie proof, especially if you spend like an hour to protect the glass.

A lot of large farming equipment can destroy cars.

Want to guess what it’d do to a decaying human body? It’s not pretty.

Now I know what you’re thinking. Merely flattening them with common construction equipment or farming gear isn’t enough.

How about a tree trimmer that can mulch a tree top to bottom in nothing flat?

OM NOM NOM NOM.

“But we need ways to move a lot of people that zombies can’t stop!”

BEEP BEEP MOTHERFUCKER. Deer don’t have a chance and neither does a zombie.

“But that’s not good enough!”

NOW it’s time to call our friend the military because this ride stops for no one.

Do I need to keep going or is it clear the movies are bullshit yet? Seriously a dozen prepared people with heavy equipment licenses could clear an entire street of zombies AND powerwash it after.

Help us provide an option for the nonbinary and transmasculine community in terms of swimtops. Everyone should have the option to go shirtless if they want to and everyone should be able to do it comfortably and confidently. Some people are cool with wearing a bikini top, tight compression sports bra, or a baggy tshirt – but what if you aren’t? What if you want to get a tan and wear something that’s more “masculine” or gender neutral? What if you want to be able to just feel shirtless? Our Bareskin Top is our solution to this problem. Offered in a variety of skin tones and in a more comfortable cut than other binders on the market, the Bareskin Top allows you to wear something that is less visually triggering than anything else out there and allows you to get a tan while also spending time in the water.

We need your help to make it a reality though! Our kickstarter is live until December 19, 2015 and with your help donating and spreading the word, we can have these bad boys available by next summer if we meet our fundraising goal.

Don’t you think everybody deserves to feel comfortable in their bare skin?

Donate, signal boost, spread the word, & support your community! If every person who reblogged this donated just $5 we would reach our goal in no time!

Special thanks to Yoomi Park for shooting our video and for Kayla, Chris, Rookie and Courtney for drinking beer at 11am to make this happen.

This product won’t be perfect for everyone but for some it’s exactly what they are looking for– I know that we made the prototype because of my personal experience with Dysphoria and not being satisfied with the options I have for swimtops as a transmasc person. I don’t want to cover myself with a shirt all the time, I don’t want to swim in something that looks like a wetsuit, I don’t like the way my other binders look underneath tanktops in the summer, etc. I personally want to look down and not be triggered, and for me (and many others) top surgery isn’t attainable anytime soon, so something that “blends” more into my skin is a relief.

The bareskin top has helped ease my Dysphoria, similar to when I tried on my very first binder– and now I wear this top more than my other binder hands down.

SO AGAIN– if every one of my followers donated JUST $1 we would easily meet our goal!! We see that a lot of you support this idea and we want to make it a reality– but we need your help!!

^^^^

please please donate to this, or boost it if you can’t. So many guys/Non-binary peeps need this product to make summer manageable.
