ALRIGHT! Now listen carefully. Here’s a special technique i used to draw luke’s hair. 

Now remember to always use a reference photo so for this tutorial, i’ll be using this cute little SSB4 lucas for demonstration

so we got our luke. now what you want to do, is notice the shape of it. Make sure you outline it so you can get use to the base and use it in your future drawings.

It doesn’t have to be perfect cuz it’s just learning the shape of it.
Now this next part is verrry important so pay REAL close attention to it. 

You gotta make him REALLLLLY mad because it’s about the emotions ya know? His hair is basically screaming “I’M MAD CUZ MY FAM DIED RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY FACE”

Also, be sure to add a motivational quote next to him to ya know, ENCOURAGE THE INNER EMOTION WITHIN YOU. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO FEEL HIS EMOTIONS AS WELL.

Now, our final most important step is, understanding what’s on the inside. Behind that bundle of hair, is a normal, gentle and kind boy. Throughout the hardship he’d been, he’s still standing strong. Be proud of him. Love him. 

With further ado, we shall see how he managed to maintain such a structure….
