I just saw a post advertising a site that sells bootleg pokemon merch. With the recent popularity of Pokemon go, the need for merch has risen. Now I understand bootlegs are a cheaper option, but they also can be unsafe! Most bootlegs are rush jobs made by cheap labor. There can be dangerous things such as lead paint and needles in the fabric (before I bought official merch, I had a few bootlegs and one of them still had a pin in it). So stick to official guys! Here is a bootleg spotting guid from Pokevault.
http://pokevault.com/ << Slightly more on the expensive side, but has a wide virity of merch, both new and old! Has a collectors club where you can get discounts.Visiting their youtube also has discount codes! All items are instock unless it’s a preorder. Takes paypal, credit card, cashier’s checks, money orders, and cash (last 3 US residence only). See their FAQ for more on this.
http://sunyshore.com/store/ << Cheaper than Pokevault but only carries newer items. Occasionally has older items and carries Free! (Anime) merch too. Items are picked up from the pokecenter (unless otherwise stated). Accepts paypal.
http://www.pokemoncenter.com/ << This is the offcial pokemon store. As of now they only stock recent items (2015-2016). Compared to Pokevault, their stock is tiny. Cheaper than both Sunyshore and Pokevault (because lack of middleman). Stocks items months after they have officially been released in Japan. Doesn’t take paypal, only credit card. Only ships to America. Free shipping with $50+ order.
http://pkmncollectors.livejournal.com/ << User run sales. You have to sign up for a livejournal and apply for membership of pkmncollectors. Often times much cheaper than the rest due to items being used (most in good condition). More variety of merchandise than the rest. Good for people interested in collecting pokemon merch. Most users take paypal. They also have some handy guides.
Beautiful and unique, these leafy backpacks are handmade and made to order by the talented LeaflingBags on Etsy! They come in an array of colours, shapes and sizes and are a perfect gift or treat to bring out your inner forest adventurer.
I haven’t seen a post about this yet so I thought I’d make it. As everyone knows we’re getting a new event mystical Pokemon for our games every month in America starting February. But did you know there are also special plush as well? This is great for Pokemon collectors and they all come in the neat little bag which is great for displaying. Get them all or only your favorites but I think this is a great 20th anniversary present as it spans all gens and ties into the giveway! Here’s a handy guide for when and what stores these Pokemon will show up at.
