Over the years I’ve settled on several headcanons about the Shuppet line that I’m pretty content with but I still haven’t reached a satisfying answer for what Banette is made of.

Is it fabric like the Pokedex implies? Is it pretty much like any other Pokemon and the Pokedex is exaggerating about certain things (ex. clearly it can and does open its mouth regularly)? Apparently there was a Global Link distribution of a Banette with the move Cotton Guard. But at the same time the average Banette is 3′07″ and 27.6 lbs, which is around the size of a 3-year-old child, so there’s gotta be more than just stuffing in there.

For some reason the bizarre anatomy of other ghost Pokemon doesn’t bother me as much and I’m not entirely sure why.

I hate when I’m trying to draw something and I’ve drawn the eyes really really nice exactly one time but I have no idea what it is about that one sketch that looks so good and I have no idea how to replicate it and all I know is that what I’m trying now isn’t it.

I don’t understand why native grasses aren’t used as yard cover when neighborhoods are built because not only is it better for the environment but it requires way less water (and thus money) and way less upkeep than St. Augustine or whatever shit’s been introduced instead. But no, let’s use water-loving grasses to cover yards in places relying on already overtaxed aquifers, sounds like a good plan to me.
